One of the major challenges a lot of people are facing right now is loneliness.
Even though it's easier than ever to connect with people, it's also to feel disconnected.
, hope you have ways of remaining connected and grounded in the shifting sands of culture and social pressure.
Here are a few suggestions of what you can do to remain connected, from my own experience:
- Be secure in who God has made you. An attempt to connect with people with the hopes that they will make you complete or whole will only make you come across as a leech, parasite or "desperado"
- Remind yourself often, of the value of people. The fact that you are secure doesn't mean you don't need anyone. No matter how smart or strong you are, there are things you need that God has placed in the lives of other people.
- Make an extra effort to respond to people when they try to reach out to you. It may not always be easy because of how busy you are, but do your best to reply messages, respond to calls and. If you receive as many calls and messages as I do, you will not be able to keep up, but don't let that stop you from responding to the ones you can.
- Reach out to others too. We often face the temptation of taking our families and friends for granted. After all, "they are always there", right? That's what we think... but we must cherish every moment we have left with our parents, siblings and love ones. Let's not ignore the opportunities to let them know how grateful we are to them and how much we care.
- Join a vibrant community of progressive people who care about you. A supportive group can help you overcome obstacles, recover from losses, break addictions, realign with your purpose, record amazing results and propser beyond your projections. We're blessed to have one of such communities at KINGS. I've also been working extra-hard behind the scenes creating a Personal, Business and Leadership Growth community that will help you enjoy Global Greatness by transforming more people across the world with your gifts, products, services, solutions and resources. I will tell you more about this from next week.
There are other points you can explore but you can start with these five and let them trigger other good thoughts in your heart.
Just wanted to check in on you and share some vital info to help you remain strongly connected especially in this season.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
