We get to different points in our lives where we know we can’t just carry on with business as usual.
We get to a point where we realize that all the money, accolades and fame many people crave and pursue just won’t satisfy.
I’ve had personal conversations with God that humbled me to the point of “laying it down” Times when I felt my arguments were better and my points were valid- even in my debates with God.
Times, when I’ve had to accept the superiority of God’s “perspectives”, plans and purposes.
I’ve had to walk away from offers and opportunities just because… GOD🙌🙌🙌
My new song is titled "Lay It Down" and it's a declaration of surrender to God. I have had times in my life when I didn't find it so easy or even palatable to do exactly what God wanted me to do. This song and others like it help me to posture my heart rightly.
