Dear ,
Have you ever watched a mother force-feed her baby? It could be dramatic.
The child would kick, punch and wail. The mum would pin the child to herself and force the food down his throat.
I don't subscribe to force-feeding. The process is dangerous, however the motive is right. The mum is just trying to make sure her child gets the nutrients he needs. And she does this because it is one of her primary responsibilities to ensure that her child is well fed.
However, you are an adult. Your feeding is your responsibility, and so is your success. It is impossible for anyone to force success down your throat. This is why self-governance is so important.
Never underestimate people who have mastered the art of governing themselves. Such people can achieve almost anything they set their hearts to.
They are able to do what they have to do, rather than what they feel like doing.
When your feelings begin to throw tantrums like the child who did not want to eat, are you able to pin it down and compel yourself to put in the work required to move you forward?
Don't let your feelings stand in the way of your productivity.
