Have you ever heard me say 'GO FOR IT?'
It's one of my favorite phrases to say, not just because I like the way it sounds, but because I like the effect it has on the mind of whomever I'm saying it to. If you've ever come to talk to me about your desires/visions, you've probably observed that I would ask you several questions and share helpful advice and when I believe you’ve grasped the fundamentals required for your success, you would hear me say this phrase several times to you: GO FOR IT!
The reason for that is simple; When it comes to achieving great things, there's something more important than making plans, setting goals and even execution - it is the setting up of one's mind to succeed. When I tell you to go for whatever your 'it' is, it empowers you to believe and accept that what you desire is not only possible, but it is possible for you, this gives you a mindset shift.
With this mindset, I can confidently talk to you about your plans and goals because I know that you would not abandon your vision at the slightest opposition like the 10 spies in the bible whom God had promised to give the land of Canaan to, but when they saw the people of the land they concluded it was a suicide mission to attempt to take the land. They did not have the mindset to support their desire for the land, they were not on the same page with their vision, little wonder that they didn't achieve it. Do you see how important your mindset is?
