Initially, I was hard-pressed for time due to an anticipated move to an apartment in another county. Relocation plans were abruptly shelved when I was confronted by a serious case of identity theft where scammers operating overseas were able to impersonate me in initiating over $30,000 in unauthorized transactions that maxxed out my credit cards and drained my checking and savings accounts of funds. Recovering from this financial calamity has been a slow process and has required hours of phone calls and in-person visits with credit union officials and creditors. 

While the situation has stabilized a bit, I am still under heavy pressure and surveillance where all my financial transactions are monitored 24/7 and I am prohibited from engaging in normal activities such as online banking and ATM deposits or withdrawals. My debit cards are useless, and I can only withdraw cash while inside a credit union branch. I cannot write checks on my personal checking account, even if I have available funds in my account. Until the restriction order is lifted, I was also told that I had to remit bill payments to vendors and merchants using cash or money orders.

In the interim, I have begun to redesign my website and change the way I operate my organic sulfur enterprise. I abandoned the fictitious business name I used previously (Organic Sulfur For Health) and am selling the food product under my own name. I anticipate that it will take another week or two to announce that my new website is live and taking orders and I am able to resume my newsletter offerings.
