Within the COVID19 pandemic, DEBT owed by the consumer is the next crisis!!! In my role as Approved Financial Counsellor with the Office of Insolvency, I see persons filing for bankruptcy because of unfortunate financial decisions.  

In the context of #FinanciallyFocused coaching, I work with persons who are not ready for bankruptcy, yet are still drowning in debt because of borrowing to pay off what they borrowed.  What options does the consumer have to get control of debt? How can you have an empowered conversation with your banker to keep your good credit history and access affordable loan products? How can we use debt as a tool to grow rather than a stop-gap between paycheques? How can consumers create a long-term and short-term debt portfolio to build wealth?
