My Business Struggles Turned Into Triumph: Here's What You Can Learn

What is the biggest mistake you have made in your business?

Mine was when in 2012 as I sat on my bed, holding my two little sons and crying while battling depression over my son's special needs diagnosis and heart condition, that I realized something had to change. What I truly wanted was to be a helping professional in the area of financial success. I knew there was a process and strategies to build wealth, I knew I was totally distracted by corporate reports to focus on building my wealth. And I knew my sons depended on me to heal my inner wounds that lead to the depression, learn more about investing to build wealth and learn how to be a better parent in a family with special needs. If I treated #Motherhood like an #asset and #personaldevelopment in #investing, #realestate, and the like as #investments, I would be able to follow the purpose and passions I had for my own life.

So I knew what I had to do - I invested in #coaching. And not just one type of #coaching. In order to be my #bestself, I had to embrace all my aspects to raise my #moneyvibration through #creation. I started by getting coaching to lift my #investingskills in #realestate, #stockmarketingtrading, #financialstrategy. Next, I learned about #NLP to improve my understadning of #success. Then I worked on my #creativity. So #creation to raise my #moneyvibration. And then I started #FinanciallyFocused as a #financialsuccess community.

But my dreams quickly turned into a nightmare! #FinanciallyFocused went #oldschool first!!!! I did not start my business as an online information business. I went into traditional television and I did not create courses to serve my audience. I was on the #sponsorship model of #television which meant that I wasn't engaging my audience in a heart felt way. I was seeking to please my sponsors. I was creating content for the highest bidder. I did not feel like a helping professional. I felt like the oldest profession. And so I burnt out quickly. I stopped promoting the television show. I stopped asking for sponsorship. I just stopped. Talk about embarrassing. I was at the end of my rope.

It wasn’t until I implemented my coaching program at www.financiallyfocusedcoaching.com that I was able to finally turn my mess into a success and become the helping professional that has turned many lives around and lead them out of the shadows that I once was in..

Now, I have a successful course creation business, sold-out events and amazing clients I get to work with every single day.

But each mistake I've made has shown me that everything is figureoutable.

Here are 3 things that I've learned about overcoming adversity:

1️⃣ [Surround yourself with a supportive community in the area where you want to #GROW. I had to learn to become a #specialneedsparent and #betterinvestor and#creditrestorationspecialist and a #NLPmastercoach and a #debthealer and a #digitalmarketer. These are the areas that I needed to grow and I needed to be around the RIGHT people to fuel my growth.

2️⃣ [Invest in coaching. There are #helpingprofessionals that can make your life 1000% better. I decided to #invest in my #1 asset - me!!!!!!

3️⃣ [Decide to take inspired action. It is not enough to surround yourself with the right people and spending money on coaching if you are not ready to take #inspiredaction. I decided to decide and then I decided to act!

So, here's a quick reminder:

You don't have to get it right 100% of the time.

And you don't have to be perfect.

Nor do you have to have it all together.

Success isn't about perfection.

Success is embracing adversity

and doing your best to overcome it.

So whatever you are

or whatever you're experiencing.

Know that you are not defined by your mistakes but by how you choose to overcome them!
