WE NEED YOUR HELP: It’s that time of the year again!

Oct 04, 2023 9:13 pm

Hi ,

We’ve worked hard over the past three years to create a vibrant, helpful, one-of-a-kind, writer’s community. You’ve let us know that you found great content to help you on your writing journey and also been able to make some great connections and friendships.

It takes a lot of resources to run this community, both in terms of time and backend technical support and costs. Most online writing communities charge a monthly membership fee ranging from $25 to over $100 per month. We decided early on that we didn’t want there to be any barriers to people being able to participate in this community- but that doesn’t mean that we don’t need your help, or that we can survive without it.

As a member of the community you have access to:

  • the archives of workshops with content on writing, branding, and both traditional and indie publishing
  • downloadable resources
  • weekly workshops on a range of topics
  • guest speakers
  • access to experienced writers at all stages,
  • active forums where you can get questions answered 24/7,
  • a writing sprint room to have company on getting the words down,
  • genre meet-ups, and
  • quarterly planning sessions.

We think we’re easily worth the price of Netflix or a weekly cup of coffee and hope you do too.

We are deeply grateful to those of you who have decided to set up an ongoing monthly contribution. You know who you are, and WE SEE YOU and are thankful for your support. If you would like to join the group who pledges an amount every month you can do that by going here: https://creativeacademyforwriters.com/contribute/

If you aren’t in a place where you can make an ongoing subscription pledge we understand, but we do hope you’ll do your part by contributing a lump sum amount to help our community to continue to thrive. You can do that by going here: https://creativeacademyforwriters.com/contribute/

Your friends and Creative Academy hosts,

Eileen, Crystal and Stephanie
