October is spooky season! A chance for scary movies, crunchy leaves, ghost stories, and growing darkness. While you might enjoy a bit of scary, you may be thinking that you would rather face Jason from the Halloween movies than having to put your writing out there and risk rejection, but don’t let that fear stop you from reaching your writing goals. We know you can do scary things. You have your characters way outside their comfort zone, so be willing to do it yourself. Send that piece out. Enter that contest. Pitch that agent! 

We’ve been facing our own fear about change, but we’re also excited! We’ll be implementing changes in TCA in the new year.  We hope you’re looking forward to them as much as we are.

Special Events:

We’ll be hosting a cocktail party at the Surrey International Writer’s Conference on October 25th from 8-11pm. Some of our members will be there selling their books. If you are interested in selling your books be sure to let us know. All are welcome to the event regardless if you are attending the conference. If you are in the area we’d love to see you! 

Reminder: We’ll be hosting an information session about the changes coming to TCA on Saturday October 5th from 10-11am.
