What's happening in November + Nano goals ✅

Many writers know that November means National Novel Writing Month, affectionately known as NaNoWriMo. This long standing program challenges writers to get down 50,000 words in the month of November. If you’re interested, we have a NaNo thread that you can join in the community.


Whether or not you plan to take on NaNo in the official sense, or if you’ve gone rogue and have set a different goal for yourself—to read a stack of research texts, set your own word count goal, or reach a set number of pages edited— we’re here to cheer you on. Our challenge to you is less about the output goal (although you know we’re down to celebrate if you reach it), our hope is that you take this month and make your creativity a priority. The greatest thing NaNoWriMo gives writers is an excuse to tell others (or themselves), “I can’t do X. I need to work on my book.”  We think your creativity is always a priority, but we understand it often takes a backseat to other factors. Let this be the month that you reach for your writing goals.
