Hi! Just thought I'd pop on a give a quick update on my absence. I've only gone and managed to get a herniated disc in my neck. Which is pressing on my spinal column. It may not look like it on my face but it's been agony coupled with burning, electric shocks constant pins and needles and a numb thumb and first finger. Awaiting the mri to find out quite how much damage I've done. What caused it? The physio said hes seen loads of teachers with it and blamed sitting at a computer. So I've been banned and shouldn't really be on my phone either. Apologies but itll be quiet here and on the blog for the foreseeable future. X

Only gone and buggered up my right arm with a trapped nerve. Whole arm is numb and I'm in agony. Painkillers have made me sick and dizzy. And yet weirdly I'm still thinking about how yo get into school to teach tomorrow. Waiting on a call back from the doctors again.

Marking my territory ? My kids seem to encroach on every room in the house. But when we move I'm planning my attic craft room to be a child free zone. I'm not normally one for signs etc in rooms but I think my ombre twine letter R will make it to the new study. Tutorial on how to make these easy letter art live on the blog this afternoon

Practicing my hand embroidery stitches.? I've been enjoying teaching hand sewing at primary. Sadly there isn't likely to be a return of textiles at high school. ? What are you currently reading? I've been reading alot of science fiction but now I've just started the lamplighter by Jackie Kay. Not doing so well as last year with my aim to read a book a month but at least I'm still making the time to read.
