May Ministry Update & Special Prayer Request

Dear Pastors, Praying Friends, and Supporters, May 2026
April in Review:
April was another wonderful month on furlough! At the beginning of the month, I had the opportunity to attend the annual Vision Baptist Missions Orientation at The Wilds Camp. Orientation is always a refreshing and encouraging week filled with helpful classes, fellowship with fellow missionaries, and time with friends we do not often get to see. During the month, I also attended a special Intensive Training Class at VBM in Georgia. It served as a great reminder of the spiritual warfare we face on the mission field as we serve the Lord. I am very thankful for the preparation, investment, and support that the leaders provide for each missionary.

Throughout April, I had the privilege of visiting churches in North Carolina and Virginia before traveling to Ohio to participate in a missions conference. Each church was such a blessing. It was encouraging to update supporting churches, share what God is doing in Bolivia, and present the great need for more Gospel laborers in the country.

Civil Unrest in Bolivia:
Over the past several weeks, Bolivia has experienced strikes and blockades, primarily in the capital city of La Paz. These demonstrations stem from several ongoing issues, including the country’s economic struggles and fuel shortages. Protesters are now calling for the resignation of President Rodrigo Paz. Please pray for the people of Bolivia during this difficult time and ask the Lord to bring peace and a quick resolution to the unrest.

Coming up in May
As I enter the final full month of furlough, my schedule is beginning to slow down a bit. In May, I will participate in the AWANA awards ceremony at my home church early in the month. I will also make one final trip to Georgia to update two supporting churches, attend a Relaunch Meeting with the leadership of Vision Baptist Missions, and spend time saying goodbye to loved ones before returning to Bolivia. Please pray for safety in these final travels and for wisdom and preparation as I return to the mission field.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support. I am grateful for each of you and for your partnership in reaching Bolivia with the gospel.
