Welcome to another edition of Country's Best News. As the weather is getting colder please remember to take care of yourself. If you are wearing boots pay attention to slippery surfaces. Give yourself some time to adjust to the new time.

What's Happening at On Tap

As you may have already heard, Shannon's hours at his job has changed his hours. Due to the change, he can no longer host Midweek Boot Scoot. Shaun and Sheila will be taking for the gig as it is a great time to get stress away for the midweek.

There will be NO FORMER instruction on Wednesdays for now. This will be primarily for quick review of dances and open floor dancing. We ask to please be patient for the transition is new for everyone and we anticipate some growing pains along the way. If you can stick around and help with the chairs, this would be a great help for them as they are a person down.

We have two Mondays this month that we will be doing a Monday Night Line Up event. This will start out at beginners dances but we will toss some intermediate dancing in once in awhile to keep our dancers engaged. We will try to make it more Mondays if the interest continues.

Please make a note that there will no events on the 26th as we anticipate most people will be either home cooking for the big day or traveling.

We will continue to have an orange bucket at our events to continue to bring in nonperishable items for those who continue to feel the impact of the shutdown.

Looking into the future

We are thinking of possibly hosting a holiday event, but want to know if the interest is there. Stay alert for future email or poll on our Facebook page.

Shannon is one of those who is impacted by the shutdown. He is trying to do some side gigs to supplement his income. If you are interested in anything please check out the Facebook page or consider subscribing to the magazine and podcasts.

The magazine is a digital magazine that will only get better every month. There will be more details for other events as well. There is a podcast that will be out monthly as well. Each episode will focus on various subjects. Last month we talked about viral trending dances vs classics. This month we are going on a topic with AI and it being used in the dance floor.
