Why your last challenge didn’t change you

Hey ,
Can I tell you something I wish some people knew sooner?
A challenge can inspire you, but it can’t transform you. It sparks change, but it can't sustain it.
People love challenges. There are spending freezes, gratitude journals, decluttering sprints… all the things. I love the sense of control and momentum they give you. But once the challenge ends, most often you seem to drift back to old habits.
It wasn’t because you didn’t try hard enough. It was because inspiration fades when there’s no deeper work underneath it.
That realization changed everything for me, especially after my eviction. I didn’t need another list or another reset (though they both have their list). I needed guidance. Space. Reflection. To see what God was trying to teach me beneath it all.
That’s what coaching will do for you and what I now get to do for other women.
In my latest journal entry, “What Coaching Can Do That Challenges Can’t,” I’m sharing the deeper difference between a quick win and a lifelong transformation. And how God uses coaching to nurture the slow, steady work of contentment.
If you’ve ever wondered why change doesn’t seem to stick, this one’s for you.
