St. Petersburg, Russia - one of many pictures we took at the astoundingly large #Peterhof summer palace. The foundations are simply beautiful!⁠ ?Designed by Peter the Great of Russia⁠ ?All these fountains work on gravity alone - no pumps!⁠ ?Peter designed them after visiting Versailles and seeing the fountains there⁠ ?The most famous of all these fountains is called the "Grand Cascade" which stair-steps down from the main summer palace.
