That work-life balance thing
May 12, 2021 8:56 pm
Hi ,
This week Bill and I are over in Daytona Beach at a beach-front condo with some (vaccinated) friends. We don't often go to Florida's east coast (Suncoast dwellers like us call the eastern side of Florida the Gray Coast). We're here to relax and visit with friends and yes, I'm here to work some, too.
I love to write when I'm away from my office. Walking around and seeing new sights always gives me ideas for business articles, so I jot down the idea and then flesh it out when I need a break from the beach for a while.
See, I don't have a big black line between work and play. It's all one to me. I'm a believer that entrepreneurs lead a blended life, not a "balanced" life. I know some people turn it off and on like a faucet, and if you do, that's great. But I have never been that way, and it's fine for me. So yeah, I'll be working a little bit while we are here, writing a few blog posts.
Speaking of blogging, I wanted to mention again my friend Karon Thackston's Blog Post Shortcuts. (See coupon code below.)
You might ask exactly what Blog Post Shortcuts are. They are full PDF documents created to give you inspiration, guidance, and direction as you write your own 100% unique blog post. You want your posts to sound like you, right?
Blog Post Shortcuts gives a choice of "what type of post is this?" and then you customize that shortcut to fit your niche. Each Blog Post Shortcut includes:
