Late Friday update

Hi ,

It's almost the weekend but I wanted to share a few important things with you before you coast into Saturday. :-)

First of all, I've been playing with an all-in-one backend system for your business called Groovefunnels. I'm looking at it for a few reasons.

  • I'm tired of having a "tech stack" of 13 different softwares that all have to talk to each other to run my business. It's costly, takes a lot of staff time, and is a big pain in the butt sometimes. Plus they keep changing and the costs keep going up.
  • I'm wondering if it's too "dangerous" to have an all-in-one system so I'm experimenting with it to see what I think. Honestly, I don't see how it's any worse than one of the 13 others breaking and requiring team time to figure out the problem and hook everything back together. But I know that some people think an "all in one" system is "dangerous" in case it goes down.
  • I'm noticing within Groovefunnels, which is a system that has all the different "apps" in one place that they upgrade often. Why? Because the system right now is in Beta - not quite finished. So it makes sense that some things work great right now and some things don't yet work great. That's somewhat irritating but also understandable.

You can set up a completely free Groovefunnels account and get access to the entire system (not just part of it) forever. It's hard to beat that offer. You can also upgrade right now for a one-time fee. It's a risk - if you like the system you will never pay again for your business backend and frankly that is quite appealing to me. If you don't like it you will have spent money you could have saved. But you can play with a free version right now and see if it's for you, so what's the loss other than your time?

You can create websites and landing pages along with email systems, shopping cart, and many other things. I wanted to test myself because I have NO experience setting up a landing page. I set one up for my affiliate link to GrooveFunnels and you can see what it looks like here. If you click the link on that page (my affiliate link) you can also set up your free account.

Sometimes we just have to experiment a little bit and see if changing things up makes sense. So far my take is

  1. If it works long term I will save a ton of money on backend systems
  2. I like the dashboard interface
  3. Some things don't yet work and I think the system will be done by fall or year's end, then it will be very robust
  4. It's worth my time to keep experimenting with it.

So, check it out here if you're looking for backend system changes.

We talk about things like this (as well as juice thought leader and leadership topics) in my CEO Circle Community. I've got a few spots open right now, so I suggest you check it out now.

To your sweet success,
