Tips for daily intentions

Hi ,
Do you set daily intentions in the morning for the coming day? For me this is a simple way to keep myself focused on what is important rather than getting sidetracked. I've figured out over the years that setting my daily intentions helps me make decisions during the day.
Here's an example of what I mean. During this pandemic one daily intention I set every morning is to keep Bill and me safe from covid. Every morning we renew our commitment to that overarching goal. So when someone wants us to meet up with them in a public place the answer is no. It doesn't match with our daily intention to stay away from covid.
If you have never set daily intentions here's a basic framework you can use. You can take a moment after you wake up and set a daily intention for any of these areas of your life.
- Health
- Relationships
- Business
- Financial security
- Peace of mind
Some people use morning readings or morning prayers to help set their intention. I remember my father always saying a morning prayer as he drove off to work, which in effect set his intention for that day.
As a business owner I believe it's important for me to set a daily intention for my businesses. I set my top priority for the day and let other decisions be made based on whether they support or detract from that intention. It makes life a lot clearer and easier, honestly. It helps me do what I promise to myself that I will do.
My friend Cindy Bidar just came out with a Daily Money Maker's Toolkit, and I'm intrigued about how one could use this as a daily intention, too. What does this do? It features 30 ideas for projects and tasks that make your business more profitable. Even if you find only one new idea to implement, it can more than pay for itself within just a few days.
You can check out the Daily Money Maker's Toolkit today and use the coupon code DAILY to save 54% on it. For me that's a no brainer in terms of cost. If I got one idea out of the entire thing it would be worth it. (But, set the intention to USE it if you buy it!)
Setting my daily intention to keep us safe from covid has helped us stay strong about foregoing our public life, as much as we miss it. More than anything, I want Bill (and myself) to survive these times with our health intact, and no long term effects from becoming ill. That means everything to me!
Try setting morning intentions if you haven't tried it before and see how it works for you. And see what you think of Cindy's Daily Money Maker's Toolkit, too. I'm always open to ideas that help my business.
To your sweet success,
Sue Painter
