The best way to sell what you offer

May 10, 2021 7:51 pm

Hi ,

This will be quick today because we are over on the other side of Florida this week exploring and visiting friends.

In the last 3 weeks I have read numerous "warning" articles about the dire effects of people (your buyers) leaving Facebook and getting overwhelmed by Instagram. And I've seen it on my own feed, as well. In fact, it's gotten so bad to navigate Facebook and actually see anything you're looking for that I'm considering moving my Women Biz Leaders group completely off of Facebook.

The same articles have pointed out over and over again that the best way to sell what you offer in your business is through email. This holds true for tiny businesses and huge corporations. I'm to the point that if a potential client comes to me and doesn't want to use email then I seriously doubt if she truly wants to build a long-term, sustainable online business.

I noticed the other day that my friend Ellen Finkelstein offers a low-cost little program called Thirty Days to a Massive Responsive List. Ellen has, over the years, built her email list from almost nothing to about 20,000 people. (Building an email list takes work, but no more work than spending hours at social media you don't control.) So if you wish your email list was bigger or more responsive you might find a few little helpful gems in her program. (That's my own affiliate link.)

Ellen doesn't eschew social media by the way - but she does use it effectively to help build her list. And I like that she talks about collaboration, too.

If you want some help with building your list it's worth it to take a look.

I'm heading down the road now!

To your sweet success,
