How LinkedIn Rates You Daily

Hi ,
Did you know that LinkedIn creates a rating about you? It's called the Social Selling Index. You can find your Social Selling Index (SSI) by using this link.
You might wonder what LinkedIn's SSI measures. In LinkedIn's eyes your SSI measures how effective you are at these things:
- Establishing your professional brand
- Finding the right people
- Engaging with insights
- Building relationships.
You'll find that you've been rated several ways.
- Industry SSI rank
- Network SSI rank
These two are at the top of your ranking page. Right under these you will find your current SSI, which is updated daily!
Let's take a deeper look at what each of the four ratings targets.
- Establishing your professional brand measures how well you have completed your profile with the customer in mind and how LinkedIn measures you as a thought leader by publishing meaningful posts.
- Finding the right people measures how well you use LinkedIn to identify better prospects in less time using efficient search and research tools.
- Engaging with insights measures how well you discover and share conversation-worthy updates to create and grow relationships.
- Building relationships measures how well you strengthen your network by finding and establishing trust with decision makers.
Toward the bottom of your Social Selling Index page you'll find two other measures of yourself. One is how your SSI ranks against people in your industry. The second is how well your SSI ranks against people in your network.
Challenge: If you're looking to use LinkedIn more then take a screen shot of your current SSI and then check it every week. Pick just one ranking to work on during each week and see if the needle changes. In a month you should see some differences in your ranking.
If you want ideas about engaging your audience more take a look at Engaging Your Audience which talks about your blog, FB groups, Instagram, and in e-mails, too. It's reasonable in pricing and you'll get gems you can use every day.
To your sweet success,
