This is the most amazing month of the year for fantasy romance fans.
That's because it's Fantasy Romance February.
Today's an especially fun part of that month: A whole bunch of authors (me included!) have books in a today-only 99-cent sale.
I'll include a link for that below, plus a heads up about some of those books. First, though, remember to check out FaRoSociety's Instagram for giveaways, author discussions and other fun this month.
And one of my favorite parts is FaRoTines. Fifteen ebooks, delivered to your inbox one day at a time from Feb. 14 through the end of the month.
It's a lovely little gift surprise every day.
This time, I'm one of the 15 romantasy, PNR, gaslamp and monster romance authors whose books you'll get if you sign up before Feb. 14.
(I can't tell you which book of mine is in the FaRoTines because ... you know, surprise.)
Signing up also gets you the FaRo Society newsletter twice a month with genre discounts and new releases. I see that as a bonus (I'm a subscriber), but you can unsubscribe whenever you want.
And now for the super-duper fantasy romance book ninety-nine pennies sale.
Among the 250-plus books in this bonanza: My getting-your-wish (unfortunately), grumpy/sunshine, secret-wizard-meets-fantasy-obsessed-history-instructor book The Opposite of Magic.
Some of the other books on the list that I love: Vela Roth's Blood Mercy (vampire diplomat + daughter of the tyrant human king), AJ Lancaster's The Lord of Stariel (Downton Abbey meets fae), S.L. Prater's Coven of Ill Repute (witch + vampire must solve a mystery to escape a haunted house), Elsie Winters' Leviathan’s Song (she's an elven expert in dangerous, beautiful things; he's a siren who qualifies) and Lisette Marshall's Lord of Gold and Glory (staging a rebellion with the empire’s deadliest fae murderer).
Happy FaRoFeb!

More cool & bookish things
February's bookish gaslamp-fantasy gift for you: Jen Lynning's A Lady of Truth.
When her brother loses a fortune he doesn't have to Prince Dmir, Eleya does the only thing she can think of to even the scales: sneaks into the prince's rooms to offer an alternative form of payment.
Prince Dmir is too principled to accept her salacious proposal. But he could really use her ability to separate the truth from lies ... and he might just fall for her while she's helping him.
You made it to the end! You're awesome. (Of course.) And oh hey, here are my latest books and here are all my book gifts to you.
