Email Changes

Hey ,
Just a quick email to let you know about some changes on Google, yahoo and Microsoft in regard to emails.
They are all tightening up on spam. Long story shot, they want DMARC, SPF and DKIM records added to your site. This would mainly only affect you if you are running an email newsletter, but I believe they are tightening up on personal emails as well.
Here's the good news. I've spent the last couple of days going through all the sites I host and adding DMARC and SPF records. I've done this regardless of whether you have an email newsletter or not, as your site actually does send out emails via contact forms and other admin emails (which we don't want to be blocked). One thing to keep in mind is if you have a business email (one that ends with your domain, e.g. [email protected]), you will probably need a DKIM record added as well. This is the only one I'm unable to do. If you don't know if you have one, email me and I can check. If you don't have one, I'll try to direct you on how to get it, and we will take it from there.
Kind Regards
Chris
