Coaching Platform Buyer's Guide - A Side-By-Side Review
Jan 18, 2024 2:25 pm
Imagine hosting your clients on a coaching platform and suddenly being revoked access because the provider went out of business or decided to perform maintenance in the middle of your work day.
These things have happened and you know that coaches aren't amused about stuff like that.
How do you lower this type of risk when choosing a coaching platform?
For 6 years in a row, we've updated our side-by-side comparison of coaching software in this extensive guide to coaching platforms.
Every year, a few providers request to be added, but not everyone qualifies.
For example, we exclude platforms that are geared toward other industries (like scheduling for hair salons, doctors, massage therapists, ....and, yes, also coaches).
Why?
Because we know that running a coaching business requires a specific set of operational activities that don't apply to other professions.
Of course, there is some overlap with adjacent industries such as counseling and consulting, which is why we have included Quenza, for example. Quenza has been able to bridge the needs for therapists and coaches.
So, our latest edition of the coaching platform buyer's guide had a few surprises.
The new coaching platform buyer's guide deleted and added providers. 😱
Yup, not every platform labeled "coaching platform" seemed worthy of being on the list. Some because they are not well maintained (or at all).
Overall, there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of customer service across the board, even the providers with impressive user interfaces and feature sets.
That's only one side of the story. YOU, friend, are what the coaching community (on Discord!) needs to get a well-rounded view.
Rather than getting approached by vendors, it would be far more interesting to hear from you, a coach, which platform works well or misses the mark!
After all, that's why we have the new community!
Head on over to the community and help your peers! Let's increase transparency and help each other avoid costly decisions and regret.
Don't play shy. We're all growing here.
Enjoy the weekend,
