Welcome to the Online Nonviolent Communication Festival

Feb 05, 2026 6:14 am

Dear ,

Thank you once again for registering for the Online Nonviolent Communication Festival, taking place on February 6–8, 2026. We truly hope you’ll be able to join as many workshops as possible, and we trust that you’ll enjoy the sense of connection and community throughout the festival.

Please don’t worry if you’re unable to attend some sessions live or if it feels hard to choose between workshops. All sessions will be recorded, and you’ll have access to the recordings for 6 months after the festival ends.

If anything is unclear about how to access the festival platform or what you can do beyond attending the workshops themselves, this email is here to guide you.

Before the festival begins

  • Please check whether you have received a separate email with the subject line:
  • “Nonviolent Communication Festival link”, and make sure the access link works.
  • If you haven’t received it, please check your SPAM folder.
  • If you can’t find it there either, write to us as soon as possible at [email protected].

During the festival

  • Starting Friday, February 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM Romanian time (2:00 PM CET), and at any time during the festival, you can access the platform using the personal access link mentioned above.
  • For security reasons, you may occasionally be logged out if you close the page or if your session expires. If this happens, simply return to the email containing your personal access link and use it again.
  • If you can no longer find that email, go to the festival page at this link and click the blue button in the top right corner labelled “Login Link.”

  • A pop-up window will appear (see example below), where you’ll be asked to enter the email address you used to register for the festival

  • After clicking the “Resend login link” button, you’ll receive an email with a link that will take you back into the platform.
  • Please make sure to check your SPAM / JUNK folder as well.
  • You’re welcome to join any workshop you choose. As shown on the platform, when a workshop is live, its tile will be highlighted. Simply click on the highlighted tile to enter the session.

After each workshop, we invite you to step into the Virtual Café — a space we’ve created for you to connect with other participants, share your impressions from the workshops, or ask any questions that may still be unanswered.

The Café will be hosted by an experienced Nonviolent Communication trainer, whose role is to create a safe space, offer clarity where needed, and facilitate the exchange of ideas and inspiration.

The Café schedule is displayed in the Program section of the platform.

During a workshop

  • If you join earlier than the time listed in the program, you’ll be placed in a virtual waiting room. That’s perfectly fine — at the official start time, you’ll be automatically moved into the workshop room together with the other participants.
  • We encourage you to keep your camera on, positioned in landscape mode, and to sit facing a light source (a window or a lamp). This helps ensure your face is clearly visible and supports better interaction.
  • You’re also welcome to change your name in Zoom so that you’re recognized the way you prefer.
  • Each session includes not only a facilitator or trainer, but also a Technical Assistant who can help if you experience any technical issues — such as not being able to see, hear, write, or speak when you wish to.
  • All sessions will be recorded so participants who chose to attend a parallel session can watch them later.
  • Exercises held in breakout rooms will not be recorded.
  • Please use the Reactions and Chat options in the Zoom menu if you’d like to express how you’re feeling about what you’re hearing or if you want to ask for additional clarification.
  • At the end of each session, you’ll receive a short feedback form that takes no more than 2 minutes to complete. Your feedback supports the trainer in improving future sessions and also helps you reflect on the key insights you’re taking away.

At the end of the festival

On Sunday, February 8, starting at 5:00 PM Romanian time (3:00 PM CET), we invite you to the Closing Ceremony, which will include a raffle where you can win prizes generously offered by the festival trainers.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to write to us anytime at [email protected].

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the festival!

Warmly,

The Organizing Team:

Maria, Mona, and Lăcrămioara
