Bring a pencil and some paper (or grab your laptop) and join a community of writers. Use the time to work on a project or join in on the prompts and games provided. The group meets from 6:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday nights whenever the library is open.

Our newest book club will be meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm. April's selections is The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie.


Poirot retires to a village near the home of a friend, Roger Ackroyd, to pursue a project to perfect vegetable marrows. Soon after, Ackroyd is murdered and Poirot must come out of retirement to solve the case.

Story time for children age 5 and under is held at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday, year-round. Story time consists of stories, body movement activities, songs, and rhymes, helping children grow the skills they need to become lifelong readers. Young children and their grown-ups are invited to join us for these free weekly events!

Wednesday, April 3rd at 2:30 pm

Calling all teens in grades 6-12! come join our Teen Advisory Board. This board is a great opportunity to initiate change and make the library what you want it to be. You get to play a hand in choosing books you want to see in the collection, the programs you want the library to provide, and even the prizes you want to earn for the Summer Reading Program. Make your voice heard, and make your library a place you're proud of!


No registration or application needed. Just come as you are after school. Snacks provided!

Cards & Creativity meets every Thursday that the library is open at 1:00 p.m. This is a weekly opportunity to meet up with others to play games or engage in your creative outlet of choice. You can work on fiber art, writing, music, drawing, or anything else that inspires you! We'll provide light refreshments as well as coloring supplies and games for you to use!

Join us on Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m. for a fun, one-on-one program with bouncing rhymes, books, bubbles, music, and group play just for our youngest patrons. This program is designed for ages birth to 24 months with a parent or caregiver.

All homeschool families are invited to join us for a field trip to Farmers State Bank! Learn more about the bank, careers in banking, and more during this tour led by bank staff. Meet at Farmers State Bank across from City Park.

Join local author, I. R. Miller, as she talks about her debut novel, Soul Savior!


Soul Savior: Quincey was supposed to be looking for colleges to attend, not a way out of the hell she found herself in. When she heard the ad in the news, she thought it was a hoax. But everything she knew turned on its head after she almost got killed by a ghost inside a haunted mansion. Now she needs to find a way to help the hosts, it won't be as easy as she thought someone else in this mansion will do anything he can to stop Quincey from calming them. If she ever wants to escape the mansion, she's going to need a lot of help.

April Introverts Book Club: The Anthropocene Reviewed

A monthly opportunity to read the same books as others in the community without the added obligation to meet and discuss the book. Just check it out and return it like you would with any other inter-library loan book!
