Take a journey into Will's usual high energy and hilarious M.E.S.S. (Music, Education, Stories & Science). Each performance features a story, a song, a science experiment, silliness, and plenty of audience participation.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Clear Lake Public Library.
Monday, June 17th at 6:00 pm
Bring a pencil and some paper (or grab your laptop) and join a community of writers. Use the time to work on a project or join in on the prompts and games provided. The group meets from 6:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday nights whenever the library is open.

Book Chat meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 12:00 pm in the library meeting room. June's selection is Nothing but the Rain by Naomi Salman.
A sleepy little town discovers its memories have become part of the water cycle in Naomi Salman's debut novella, Nothing but the Rain. The rain in Aloisville is never-ending, and no one can remember when it started. There's not much they can remember. With every drop that hits their skin, a bit of memory is washed away. Stay too long in the wet, and you'll lose everything you used to be.
Tuesday, June 18th at 6:30 pm
Join us at the library for six different presentations throughout the summer that coincide with this year's summer reading theme, Read, Renew, Repeat. Together we can gather the tools, resources, and knowledge needed to become a more conservation-minded community.

Turn what would be trash into new treasures! We'll turn empty spice jars into sensory bottles, miscellaneous puzzle pieces into collage art, and we'll even create some cool art using old plastic eggs.

Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they're both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: There's an app for that. Its called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure: to live a lifetime in a single day.
