A new program, this is geared towards ages 18 months - 3 years old and will work on the play skills necessary for early literacy readiness. Some weeks will involve library staff leading parachute play, songs and rhymes, while others will be more free-form with play-doh, dramatic play, and other activities.

At The Library After School (ATLAS) is an after-school program for 1st 5th graders consisting of read-aloud stories, exploring the library, crafts, movies, and activities. The program will run weekly on Mondays from 3:30-5:00pm starting March 18 - May 20. Registration for the Spring session required by March 18.
Monday, April 29th at 6:00 pm
Bring a pencil and some paper (or grab your laptop) and join a community of writers. Use the time to work on a project or join in on the prompts and games provided. The group meets from 6:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday nights whenever the library is open.

Story time for children age 5 and under is held at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday, year-round. Story time consists of stories, body movement activities, songs, and rhymes, helping children grow the skills they need to become lifelong readers. Young children and their grown-ups are invited to join us for these free weekly events!

Calling all teens in grades 6-12! come join our Teen Advisory Board. This board is a great opportunity to initiate change and make the library what you want it to be. You get to play a hand in choosing books you want to see in the collection, the programs you want the library to provide, and even the prizes you want to earn for the Summer Reading Program. Make your voice heard, and make your library a place you're proud of!
No registration or application needed. Just come as you are after school. Snacks provided!

Cards & Creativity meets every Thursday that the library is open at 1:00 p.m. This is a weekly opportunity to meet up with others to play games or engage in your creative outlet of choice. You can work on fiber art, writing, music, drawing, or anything else that inspires you! We'll provide light refreshments as well as coloring supplies and games for you to use!
This week we will also be hosting a community conversation during Cards & Creativity that will focus on imagining all the ways that the library could be more accessible. To learn more about the conversation and the grant that we received to better the library, click the button below.
Thursday, May 2nd from 3:30 - 5:00 pm
The spring session of Casual Chess Club will run April 25 - May 16 on Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Players of all ages and abilities are invited to join us during this time. Attend on weeks that you are able to play a game with a friend or a stranger.

Join us on Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m. for a fun, one-on-one program with bouncing rhymes, books, bubbles, music, and group play just for our youngest patrons. This program is designed for ages birth to 24 months with a parent or caregiver.

Lightsaber Lockdown Escape Room:All ages welcome!
Embark on an intergalactic adventure in our Star Wars-themed escape room, where the Force and your wits will guide you through a galaxy far, far away. May the clues be with you!

A monthly opportunity to read the same books as others in the community without the added obligation to meet and discuss the book. Just check it out and return it like you would with any other inter-library loan book!
