Tuesday, March 19th at 12:00 pm

The Book Chat group meets the third Tuesday of the month at the Clear Lake Public Library in the meeting room. March's book is Fair Play by Eve Rodsky.

It started with the Sh*t I Do List. Tired of being the shefault parent responsible for all aspects of her bust household, Eve Rodsky counted up all the unpaid, invisible work she was doing for her family and then she sent that list to her husband, asking for things to change. His response was . . . underwhelming. Rodsky realized that simply identifying the issue of unequal labor on the home front wasn't enough; She needed a solution to this universal problem. Her sanity, identity, career, and marriage depended on it.

March Introverts Book Club: She Who Became the Sun

A monthly opportunity to read the same books as others in the community without the added obligation to meet and discuss the book. Just check it out and return it like you would with any other inter-library loan book!

She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan: In 1345, China lies under harsh Mongol rule. for the starving peasants of the Central Plains, greatness is something found only in stories. When the Zhu family's eighth-born son, Zhu Chongba, is given a fate of greatness, everyone is mystified as to how it will come to pass. The fate of nothingness received by the family's clever and capable second daughter, on the other hand, is only as expected.
