Join us in the meeting room for a fun movie for the whole family starting at 1:00pm, complete with popcorn and lemonade! Some chairs/cushions will be available, but feel free to bring your favorite pillow/blanket!

Monday, March 13th at 6:00 pm

Bring a pencil and some paper and join a community of writers. Use the time to work on a project or join in on the prompts and games provided. The group meets every Monday night at 6:00 pm in the library history room.

Lego® Open Build will be from 10:00am - 12:00pm and is open to all ages! We provide the materials, you provide the imagination.


Join us for a Lego® Car Derby on our pinewood derby track. We have a limited number of Lego® chassis, so registration is required. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.



Wednesday, March 15th

Wednesday, March 15th at 10:30 am

Little Learners up to age 5 and their families are invited to join us at a local park for story time each Wednesday at 10:30a.m. Story time consists of stories, body movement activities, songs, and rhymes, helping children grow the skills they need to become lifelong readers. Feel free to stay after and play and make new friends!

Whether you are an old pro or new to the game, players of all ages and skill levels are invited to the Library for Casual Chess. It’s a casual environment in which to learn the game or play a pick-up game with others. The library has several chess sets available to use, or feel free to bring your own.

Books on Tap meets at Lake Time Brewery the third Wednesday of each month at 6-7pm. For March we are reading, The Personality Brokers. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is the most popular personality test in the world. It is used regularly by Fortune 500 companies, universities, hospitals, churches, and the military. It has inspired TV shows, online dating platforms, and Buzzfeed quizzes. Yet, despite the test's widespread adoption, experts in the field of psychometric testing, a $2 billion industry, have struggled to validate its results How did Myers-Briggs multiple choice questionnaire, infiltrate our workplaces, our relationships, our Internet, our lives?

Join us on the first and third Thursdays of the month for Coffee and Creativity! Bring a project to work on, share tips and patterns, chat with fellow crafters, and drink coffee all in a relaxing afternoon at the library. The coffee and some coloring supplies are provided.

Thursday, March 16th at 2:00 pm

Drop by the library and make a craft while you search for books over Spring Break! Children will be able to create and imagine projects using leftover materials from our craft closet, or create one of our template projects on display.

We provide the supplies; you provide the creativity. Program is come and go. Open to all ages.



Friday, March 17th

Friday, March 17th at 10:30 am

Join our Youth Services Librarian each Friday for a one-on-one program with bouncing rhymes, books, bubbles, music, and group play just for our youngest patrons. This program is designed for ages birth to 24 months with a parent or caregiver. Feel free to stay after to make new friends!

Friday, March 17th from 12:00 - 5:00 pm

Stop by for this drop-in event at the library. Several stations will be set up designed for teens to relax and unwind before heading back to school for the last stretch of the school-year. Crafts, the Nintendo Switch, snacks – come and enjoy! For teens in grades 6-12.
