42 years after canoeing from central Minnesota to Hudson Bay, Hank Kohler set his canoe in the Mississippi River once again and launched form the same point – this time, he traveled south to the Gulf of Mexico. Like the first trip, this trip was full of fun and adventure; however, unlike the first trip, it stood for much more.

Little Learners up to age 5 and their families are invited to join us at a local park for story time each Wednesday at 10:30a.m. Story time consists of stories, body movement activities, songs, and rhymes, helping children grow the skills they need to become lifelong readers. Feel free to stay after and play and make new friends!

Wednesday, May 31st at 3:00 pm

Join us weekly on Wednesday afternoons for a scheduled play date at the library! Meet other families with young children, explore the play area, and enjoy 'special story time toys' in the meeting room. All are welcome!

Kick off Summer Reading 2023 “Find Your Voice” by helping us decorate outside the library. Design a sidewalk square with your favorite book quote, motivational message, or fun drawing. Librarians will provide the chalk, you provide the creativity. All ages welcome to join in on the fun!

Thursday, June 1st at 1:00 pm

Join us on the first and third Thursdays of the month for Coffee and Creativity! Bring a project to work on, share tips and patterns, chat with fellow crafters, and drink coffee all in a relaxing afternoon at the library. The coffee and some coloring supplies are provided.
