So what weird excitement is going on in your world this week? We've got the Easter holidays coming up, and whether you celebrate or not, I hope you get to spend some time enjoying life with family & friends this weekend. My husband's got a couple days off work, so we're going to check out a waterfall in North Carolina on Thursday morning. I can hardly wait! 🤩
Hopefully I'll get at least 1 awesome photo of the waterfall to share next week.

HNWA Giant Box Set—Reviews Wanted
In case you're a newbie in this weird reader club, you might like to know that just a couple weeks ago, I bundled all of the eBooks in my debut series—titled His Name Was Augustin and abbreviated as HNWA—into one giant box set of dark romantic fantasy goodness. Gift of Darkness Updates
I'm still deep in the writerly trenches with Gift of Darkness, piecing together an inspiring love story I've wanted to tell for a long while. In case I didn't mention this before, the two heroines of the story—Doro and Amira—are side characters in an as-yet-unpublished series I wrote back in 2019 (before I became an "actual" author 😉). Aaaaaand the hero & heroine of that unpublished series are side characters in Gift of Darkness!
It's so much fun when stories all come together in tidy packages. It looks like Lady Ilsa (from Gift of Air) and Zehra (from Gift of Stone) will be making appearances in Gift of Darkness, too.

That means it's now possible to "read my books for free" (like KU authors tend to say, LOL) in Kobo Plus! And the price Kobo is currently offering for a one-month subscription to Kobo Plus is a pretty sweet deal. $9.99 for unlimited access to ebooks AND audiobooks. 😮
Now, before you all rush to download the Kobo app and sign up, please remember that as an author, I still get paid more from sales than from Kobo Plus reads. It's the same for authors whose books are in KU—an author might see around $1.80 for a 400 page book priced at $4.99, while they'd get something like $3.42 in royalties from a sale. Still, the option is open now for budget readers and readers who tend to binge super fast.

Random Garden Pix
So spring has been taking hold here in South Carolina for a few weeks now, aside from a couple crisp mornings. Our forsythias, redbud trees, and violets have all finished blooming (pity, no more flowery salads). But now the azaleas are out, and a couple perennial herbs in our planter have started to awaken. Here's a pic of our azalea bush, and one of our two oregano plants. 🌿
