Moving Ahead . . . Or Technically Backwards

Since all of you checked the box on my Google Form to indicate that you're interested in reading & reviewing the entirety of Swanie's saga, it's time to move from Book 6 to Book 1, Arcane Gateway.

If you happened to read Beth's newsletter from a few weeks ago, you've gotten a bird's-eye view of the conflicts & complications in that book. This is the book where Swanie finds out she's a Teuton ice witch—and subsequently stumbles across a ruby-red amulet that harbors the power to open time's gateway. 😉

Since you've already read Numinous Fortune, the last book in Swanie's saga, you know what ultimately comes of that. But now it's time to learn just how Swanie got from Point A (typical college-age human) to Point B (icy witch diving into the past in hopes of eternally reuniting with her one true love).

Arcane Gateway is the book where it all began. And fair warning, it's probably the least "exciting" out of all of the books, particularly where romance is concerned. Swanie doesn't meet Augustin until Book 2, so she's juggling teenage feelings in this book & trying to figure out WHY she has this unquenchable attraction to fiery Teuton priests. 🔥

There is a graphic scene of sexual assault in this book, so if that's something that would be triggering for you, no judgment if you skip this one. The scene takes place in Chapter 25, which is titled "Drunken Assault."

I'm specifically looking for more reviews on Amazon for Arcane Gateway. It's currently sitting at 31 ratings on the US site, and if we can push it to the 50 mark, the Amazon algorithms will be more inclined to suggest it to new readers. Especially if we can manage to keep its ranking at 4 stars or higher.
