My Gift of Fire Canal Boo-boo 🤪

Sooooooo, the one thing I'm always hoping to do every time I release a new book is polish it to perfection first—as few typos as possible, and NO completely brainless mistakes. ✌️

Well.

Apparently, I can't read a map.

Gift of Fire is set in Erlangen, Germany, a city I've yet to visit myself. Therefore, hours of research—including extensive study of local restaurants & foods 😉—went into Gabi's story as I was writing it. The Regnitz River flows through the city of Erlangen, and there's a nice little canal that runs north to south.

"Okay, so there's a main road running along this canal that's called Am Europakanal. That means the canal is called the Europakanal."

"Why does this person call the canal the Main-Donau-Kanal . . . ?"

Maybe I should just stick with waterfalls. Like this one that my husband and I visited last Christmas. It's called Tanassee Creek Falls, and you can find it in the North Carolina mountains. Yep, I'm positive about it's name. 😂
