We're Having A False Spring Here In South Carolina 🌱

Right now while I'm sitting at my husband's laptop typing out today's newsletter, it's about 74º F (or 23º C) outside. ☀️
In February.
After we froze our toes off from December through January.
So I'm ordering myself NOT to go wander through my neighborhood looking for early blooms or wild herbs to pick. After all, I've got a witchy novella to finish by the start of next week. It's about halfway done at this point, and I'm editing as I go like I always do. Gisela's about to get slapped with unexpected weirdness in the next chapter, and I'm 100% sure she's NOT ready. 👀

Thunar Wants My Attention
As you can see in the photo below, my soon-to-be-15-year-old cat, Thunar, thinks I'm better off petting him than working on Forbidden Gift. Yep, that's my laptop he's blocking with his paw. Earlier I had to gently move his snoozing face away from the Backspace and Enter keys while I finished up a chapter.
It's so much fun trying to work with fuzzy family members around, isn't it? 😸
