YOLO With Kobo
Now that we're all aware I'm nowhere near perfect (as if we didn't already know that!), we've got the semi-yearly YOLO With Kobo event happening today. During this event, a bunch of indie authors come together to present you with their most bingeable romance books to read on Kobo Plus.
Here's a quick rundown of Kobo Plus, if you've never heard of it before. It's a subscription program similar to Kindle Unlimited (KU), and it's hosted by Kobo, a smaller competitor of the Amazon monolith. 💪
If you read so many books so fast that you can't afford to buy all of them at full price, Kobo Plus is something you ought to consider adding to your lifestyle. It's about the same price per month as KU, but its price includes both audiobooks AND eBooks (so no need to sign up for KU+Audible together). So what's going on with Helena and her sinister muse Konstantin on this last Friday in April? 🌷
Welp, as usual I've left them halfway up a cliff at the end of Chapter 24. Helena just questioned Konstantin about something he didn't realize she was aware of. And it's not a particularly good 'something.'
It might be something that will dissolve the relatively peaceful development of their romantic relationship. 😬
But I'll find out about that once I start writing Chapter 25. We're at the 67,000+ word mark now, and it looks like I've got only 13 chapters left to write at most. Things are leading up to the final showdown, and I can hardly wait to see how that comes together. I hope you'll be there to join Helena and Konstantin in a little over a month when the first book in their saga hits the retailers!
