✨ Are you ready to join Doro & Amira in their inspiring journey to magical love? ✨

Gift of Darkness—the third standalone novel in the Elemental Bloodlines series—is out on all online book retailers TODAY! That means if you've pre-ordered, it's time to check your e-reader and dive into a compelling Teutonic romance set in a mystical Alpine village. 💖

Haven't gotten your copy yet? Now's the time to do it, especially if you're thinking about snagging it from my web shop. Enter the code DARKWITCH at checkout to get 15% off—a discount you can't get anywhere else!

✨ I Need It! ✨

Paperbacks will be available in a week or two, because I've gotten a bit behind on formatting (a whole different ball of wax than formatting an eBook). Also, I might be working on a super-secret-project with a looming deadline. So if you're a paperback connoisseur, hold tight! They're coming.

Here's a batch of graphics for Gift of Darkness in case you'd like to help me spread the word to your reader friends on social media. Yes, I know I don't usually suggest such things. Why now? Well . . . .

RIP To My Favorite Panther

You probably remember that I recently set a batch of 15 quarterly goals to help me stay on track and fight the procrastination monster. Luckily, I pounded that monster into submission 😉 to publish Gift of Darkness as scheduled.

Unfortunately, my most respectful & intelligent panther who has listened to every word of every book I've published—until now—has crossed the rainbow bridge after a valiant fight against cancer. My home is very quiet without Nightfall strutting around and talking to me, and I'll admit.

I was NOT prepared for the grief. After all, he was "just" a cat.

But I'm emotionally ruined right now. Even though I have a secret project to write. And that's one (of several) reasons I've been silent on social media for the past couple weeks. Rushing to get Gift of Darkness polished on time while watching my best friend decline. And then losing him. 😢

Here's one of the cutest photos I ever took of Nightfall back when he was young and carefree. I'm thinking about running a sale on my HNWA Giant Box Set in his honor, since the collection is dedicated to him. Should I do it?

Okay, now back to much happier news about Gift of Darkness.

What Readers Are Saying

Check out a couple of ARC reviews that have come in on Goodreads and BookBub. More should be trickling in on the retailers throughout the week.

If you read Gift of Darkness and enjoy the story, I'd be delighted if you'd take a second to share your awesome review wherever you purchased it! 💖

One Other Recommended Read

I've got only one other book by a fellow indie author to share with you today, mainly because I'm not-so-secretly hoping you'll focus most of your attention on Gift of Darkness. 🤭 That being said, I'm pretty sure Doro & Amira would like this book. I read it a couple months ago and it's a riveting tale of kingdoms, fated mates, disguised identities, and steamy love. Check it out!

As the youngest daughter of seven, Rosalyn never had the luxury of wearing pretty dresses like her sisters. From the moment of birth, she was kept hidden away, only to later be presented to the kingdom as the next male to rule after her late father, King Byron.

With her coronation but a week away, bordering countries flocked to the castle in hopes of a match with Prince Stefan. Rosalyn wanted none of that. But as soon as Helena, the dragon princess, stepped through the doors of the great hall, a burning desire consumed her, setting into motion events that would turn her world upside down.

Could her kingdom accept her as a ruling queen without a king, or would she be forced to renounce her title? But Rosalyn isn't as concerned with that as she is about Helena finding out her true identity. Because as fated mates, would Helena reject her for being a woman?

✨ All Retailers ✨

Like I said at the top of this email, I'd be really, truly grateful if you'd share a graphic & link on social media to spread the word about Doro & Amira's story. Hopefully I'll find the brainpower to schedule a post of my own today, but either way, thank you so much for your patience as I seek to move forward.

Nightfall would want me to keep writing, that's for sure. Can't let him down.

Again, thank you SO MUCH for sticking with me through all the craziness these past few months! Opening a web shop, compiling a giant box set, writing a novella, writing a full-length novel, and jarring loss. We got this!

Here's hoping the road to Elemental Bloodlines Book 4 will be smoother.

Talk to you soon,
