What’s your feeling on age gap romance? Love ‘em? Not so much? What’s your favorite age gap number?
Front Porch Views: It snowed this morning then promptly melted. 😫 What’s your favorite Jane Austen novel? I happen to love Persuasion, as a recovering people pleaser, but I also love Lady Susan. The humor in Lady Susan it top notch. 😂😅 They probably hold equal places on my Jane Austen shelf.
I’ve only been able to scare my husband into shrieking once. It will probably never happen again, but it’s a moment I’ll always cherish.
My nail polish matches Mr. H.O.A. And I didn’t even notice until after I snapped this picture. 🙌 Let’s talk about accidentally writing something into existence…. I wrote Mr. H.O.A. From my comfy couch with zero big changes looming overhead. I wrote a housing crisis into the story, because I needed them to have to share. 😆 (A condemned apartment building in a small town forces them to share a house.) And then my husband and I made a big career change. And I was looking for houses close to the new job-only a month before Mr HOA released. NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the same COUNTY. 😳 we ended up moving into a 600 Sq ft house because it was literally the only thing. (We’ve since found the most perfect place that I appreciate all the more because of it. 😂) So let this be a lesson to you beginning writers. Be careful what you write because it will probably come true. Coming up next from Carina Taylor: self-made women billionaire series. 😂
Jordan Boone and Tuesday Appleton. Realease date and blurb coming soon!! In the meantime….fun things to know: 🐾 5th and final book in A Love Like This series! 🐾 Accidental marriage 🐾Mimi Boone unleashed 🐾 Giant dog with a rap sheet
“The snoring was enough to make me swear. I now knew why they called him Mack. It had nothing to do with his size, and everything to do with the fact that he sounded like a freight truck rumbling through the house when he slept. That man needed to take a sleep test and find out what was wrong because those sounds were a lot—and I mean a lot—to unpackage.” ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ I love giving characters a real life problem. 😅
Fun fact: I wrote Neighbors Like That as a stand-alone. I didn’t plan to give all the Boone cousins their own story… but I fell in love with each one and KNEW they needed their own chance in the spotlight. 😆 Who’s your favorite cousin?
If you’re new here, you probably don’t know this is my “get it done” sweater. It holds magical powers because it was my grandma Wanda Taylor’s. (Which is where my pen name came from!) If you want to talk about a woman who got things done, she was IT. I swear when I wear it I get 2x as much done. 😂 The perfect sweater for getting lots of writing done. P.s. I have some exciting news I’ll get to share SOON. So keep your eyes out. It includes a main character with the last name Boone.
Vacations Like This is available in Kindle Unlimited, ebook, and paperback!
Porch view review 🏡 Have you read The Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler? Because if you haven’t you’re completely missing out. 😂 This one was so much fun! ❄️grumpy/sunshine ❄️A MOOSE ❄️fantastic side characters ❄️sweet romance (like you love BOTH of them and are rooting for them!) ❄️ Grand gesture! (There’s a part in this scene that had me crying laughing) My paperback has seen better days. Someone (who-will-remain-nameless) spilled a glass of milk on the cover. 😂
