Birthday month 99¢ sale!

May 02, 2021 5:14 am

Happy May 1st!

Do you know what May month is? It's BIRTHDAY month! My birthday is on Monday. One of my boys turns 5 this month. And HOPEFULLY this baby will make an appearance soon as well. 😍

Of course we have to celebrate!

Now we just have to decide on desserts... My still-four-definitely-not-five-yet son wants a raccoon cake. Which is scary. Because you know all those pictures of Pinterest fails?

Yeahhhhh. That's me. Cake decorating is like a test of all my patience. But I'll be sure to share a picture with you all so you can appreciate my lack of cake decorating skills. LOL!

And another way we're going to celebrate the birthdays (and birth day—we really, really need to decide on a name 😳) Mr. H.O.A. is available for 99¢!!! This is the first time ever that it's been this low of a price.

Best part?

It's 99¢ across all the platforms!

Mr. H.O.A. is book 1 in the Fake It series. I loved Nola and Bane. And honestly I miss them. THat's the strange thing about writing books...you fall in love with your characters and are sad when their love story is finished! 😫 We might need a newsletter exclusive epilogue that checks up on Nola and Bane. What do you think? 😉

Mr. H.O.A. Blurb:

A condemned apartment building means I’m stuck sleeping in my car. My carefully planned future—gone.

It’s just bad business to admit to being homeless when you’re the top selling real estate agent in the county. So when a fellow evictee, Nola, comes up with a solution to my homeless situation, I take her up on her offer.

An empty house with a gorgeous roommate? Sign me up.

I didn’t know that staying at her friend’s house would lead to us pretending to be married.

I didn’t know I would get elected to be president of an HOA I have no business being a part of.

And I’m beginning to suspect my beautiful, devious, fake wife isn’t telling me everything.

What happens when we get another roommate, and our deception moves to the next level?

Nola is the whirlwind I didn’t want in my life—but she just might be exactly what I need.

Looking for a closed door romcom to read? This is a new release from two fun romcom authors! This is on my TBR list for late nights with baby! I know I'll need something funny to read on those late nights. 😜

She’s texting him her heart. But she’s got the wrong number…

When Isabel “El” Watson applied for a sales job with her company, she had no idea a jelly donut would explode on her blouse, or that her grumpy boss would practically laugh her out of the interview. Accountants could be salespeople, she was sure of it, even if that jerkface didn’t think so.

So when a lady at the local wine festival offers her a sales job on the spot at a new boutique winery, El jumps at the chance. She also jumps at the chance to text with the guy who danced with her at the festival. Life was finally looking up.

Boston’s friend, Chad, never should have given Boston’s number to the girl at the wine festival as a joke, but the damage was done. When El sends Boston a text later that night, believing he is Chad, he’s too nice to hurt her feelings by telling her the truth. But there are a few other truths Boston might have thought about:

Truth #1: He’s her boss

Truth #2: She just accepted a job at his mother’s new winery

Truth #3: He’s always had a crush on her

Even though Boston is no longer El’s grumpy boss, they still work together at his mom’s winery. And while sparks are flying as they get to know each other for real, El’s kind of sweet on the guy who always seems to know just what to say via text too.

Obviously, things will come to a head.

Will Boston come clean about the flirty texts being from him? Or will El figure out on her own that she’s been Texting With the Enemy?

From two USA Today bestselling authors, a RomCom so sweet you'll want to hug your kindle and never look at texting the same way.

P.S. Reviews!

I have a big favor to ask you!

Authors love reviews. (me: I'm "authors.")

I would love it if you've read any of my books if you would take the time to leave a review on the reading platform of your choice! i.e. apple, nook, amazon, etc. That would be so awesome! It helps other readers find books and decide if it's for them or not. You can totally trash it, telling everyone you hated every second of it, or that you absolutely loved it and it's the best book you've ever read. Or you know you can land anywhere in the middle of that spectrum. 🤣

Thank you so much!
