If you are reading this, chances are you have lost someone you loved due to cancer.

It really sucks.

It is a disease that many suffer from for no rhyme or reason other than it happened by chance.

And it is something that hits close to home in my family.

We have lost multiple people far too soon because of it.

So anytime that I hear a story of a survivor, my passion to live a more fulfilling life gets some extra fuel.

TODAY IS ONE OF THOSE DAYS.

One of my good friends Freddie Kimmel is a cancer survivor.

He took on the challenge of beating it in his 20's and now he spends a lot of his energy helping other people conquer their own health issues.

His story hits home with me because I know what it is like.

In my mid-20's I was silently suffering with gastrointestinal issues that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

I also was living in fear because I knew that colon cancer and other serious gastro diseases have torn apart people in my extended family.

Deep down I was struggling so bad to keep it together.

On one side I was a kid at heart with massive dreams for himself.

On the other side was a scared boy that sometimes didn't even want to live because of the pain.

"You're sick of being sick. I didn't wanna live, I'm, I didn't wanna kill myself, but I was like, I'm not living this way anymore, so I'm gonna fucking do something to move the needle.

I eventually decided "fuck this current life," if I was going to LIVE, I wasn't going to go through life in the same way I had been.

Not going to go into full detail, but the decision to LIVE, the decision to start FIGHTING BACK, it led me to my wife Erin.

It led me to pivoting my career towards a larger purpose.

THRIVEONLIFE was born.

It connected me with people that changed my life forever.

I learned so many new skills from my new communities.

And it brought me to the city of Austin Texas.

Hands down one of, if not THE BEST... place on earth for health and wellness entrepreneurs.

My life changed forever THE DAY I DECIDED TO CHANGE MY LIFE FOREVER.

That's it.

A decision can start it all.
