Pick your priorities, or they'll be picked for you.

In 2021 I have spent less of my time with friends.

A lot less of my time texting/calling/emailing people.

And almost zero time taking meetings, and going to events, that I felt would not serve me at all.

All of the above used to be a large part of my life, but my priorities have massively changed.

I turned 30 at the very beginning of this year, and during this time I candidly asked myself "if there was one thing in my 30's that I wish I could accomplish...what would it be?"

My response... HEALTHY.

So I did what I always do...

I wrote out how I was the main source of the problem.

What did I have listed as priorities that were actually causing me to sacrifice my health?!?

  1. The need to please friends and family.
  2. Feeling like work had to be a 24/7 hunt for greatness.
  3. Networking and doing events to "grow" my brand and future capabilities.

Then I flipped my frame of mind to...

  1. Fill my cup first and foremost, ALWAYS.
  2. I am already great, if I am dead, "work" won't matter anyway.
  3. Grow deeper connections with myself, my wife, and the closest people around me, rather than add more.

And guess what?!?

My data is speaking for itself!

Check these next 5 photos out below. They are the increase of my HRV over the past 9 months.

HRV aka Heart Rate Variability is READ THIS blog which gives you simple/general overview of what HRV is and why it is important to you.

9-month overview

I experienced a dip in June because I was traveling 3 weeks out of that month... and was not sleeping in my own bed, eating my normal foods, or doing my typical exercise / recovery protocols.

Now these numbers probably look random as hell to you. But what it means for me is that my body is literally healing in real time. My overall health is getting better and better every single month... so much so that I have put my autoimmune conditions into remission. And right now I am of the belief I will completely get rid of all the health issues I have experienced over my entire life.

It is all because I PUT MYSELF AS MY #1 PRIORITY.

My sleep, my meditation, my food, my exercise, my vitamins... my life comes first, everything else can wait.

Anyone who cannot accept this, or who cannot be happy for this... I don't need in my life anyway. BYE BYE. :)

And I tell you this because I want the same for you!!!

I want you to feel confident enough to CHOOSE YOURSELF and your priorities first!

I am hopeful that by sharing my results above you may consider...

  1. Listing out your own priorities
  2. Investing in your own health practices
  3. Reaping the same rewards I have been experiencing

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

p.s. today I am grateful for the sunset I saw last night, and the sunrise this morning. There were heavy rains yesterday that ended with an epic sunset, and today looks like it will be a sunny beach day. I plan to soak up all the vitamin D that I can.
