I rarerly do this...

Dec 21, 2021 8:10 pm

but I am putting my "work" to the side.

Every day I do my best to become a better me.

And for me to get "better" this week, my goal is to be present and "relax" more.

(Relaxing to me isn't sitting around lol. It is climbing mountains, snapping photos, flying my drone... it is doing things that make me feel alive and put me in a relaxed state. Define relaxing for yourself and do more of it).

Right now, I am currently in Arizona and plan to spend the rest of the week adventuring with family.

Because of this, this will be my last email of this week.

This daily message is not work to me, more like my own therapy in which I do my best to be as valuable to you as possible. This brings me an extreme amount of joy every morning!

But even though it brings me an immense amount of joy, it does not mean I should not step away for sometime to go appreciate everything else I have.

The most valuable lesson I can teach anyone, something which I talk about almost every day, is that your time here on earth is not guaranteed. Therefore, you must MAKE EVERY HEARTBEAT COUNT!

So please follow my lead and go spend time doing the things you love, in the places you love, surrounded by the people you love.

The "work" will always be there.

The tasks will always be there.

The noise will always be there.

Yet, the moments you have to make special memories that will last your lifetime... they are fleeting.

Do your best to make the most of your memories!

For those that celebrate Christmas, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas to you and your family.

For everyone, I wish you nothing but happiness and health as we finish out 2021!

Here is a final challenge for you...

Open up your calendar, and block off YOU TIME just like you would block off meetings for work.

This YOU TIME is the most important work you will ever do.

p.s. today I am grateful for you. The fact that you would take even a second to read some of my words... it never goes without appreciation. You are one of the main reasons I keep pushing to get better and better so that I can continue to help others do the same.
