How to play offense and WIN life.

You learn that you should save money, but never learn how to spend it once you do.
You learn how to study and make a grade, but never how to build a network, utilize sales/negotiation skills, and use leverage to grant you the life you want.
You learn how to go to the doctor when your ill, and pop some pills when you have the chills... but you never learn how to prevent the trip there in the first place.
Why?
Because your entire life, society has shown you how to play defense, not offense.
It's 2021 and life is literally going insane all around us. Or is it?
The beauty of playing offense is YOU ARE IN CONTROL, rather than trying to predict your next move based on others, just make your move.
Right now is THE BEST TIME TO PLAY OFFENSE TOO ... because so many out there are in the defensive stance.
You may be wondering what exactly playing offense looks like, so here are a few examples.
- Instead of waiting for a raise at your job, find a way to make an extra $500 to $1000 a month on your own. When I worked corporate, I invested about $1000 into personal training and nutrition consulting certifications. This paid for itself within ONE MONTH when I signed people up for $250, $500, and sometimes $1000 a month. This was on top of my "job" ... so I built leverage to the point I didn't have to deal with the bullshit at the job because I could leave any moment I wanted.
- Turn your debts into assets. Literally just yesterday, I traded my paid off car in for a pickup truck that I had to take some debt for. Most people play defense and would have kept the car for a decade being like "OMG NO CAR PAYMENT." Snooze. Boring. My thought is how can I get a vehicle that not only adds more value to my life, but I can write off as a business expense as well. The pickup can tow a lot of things... so the the plan will be to start a mobile sauna / ice bath business with my best friend Noah, in which I can write off the mileage and payment on the truck; thus, it will reduce my taxable income and SAVE ME MOVEY even though it is considered a depreciating asset. Also, I can leverage the truck for THRIVE branded events and write off the marketing expenses as well.
- Multiply your assets. The home my wife and I own, we didn't fill it with a bunch of stuff that we love and adore. Instead, we have been building it out as an investment property that AirBnb guests will like to utilize. We sacrifice what we desire in our home right now, to turn an already appreciating asset into one that will cash flow month over month in the future. (Our money will be making us more money. Then I will throw the income from the money into another passive stream like mutual funds and our money will continue down the train of making more on its own). Another example of this is one of the businesses I am partnered in. We have a podcast studio for recording our own media and shows, yet we also offer the room to others to pay for time slots and media management. THIS IS CALLED PLAYING OFFENSE, rather than just letting the room sit empty when we are not using it.
There are a lot more examples that I have, but I don't want to throw too much at you too soon.
Based on the above, write down a couple ways you can be more OFFENSIVE in your life.
Heck, the best way to play offense is to write to me in response to this message. I literally do this for a living!!! So why not utilize me as a resource to help you get ahead in your life?
HAPPY HUNTING FAM!

p.s. today I am grateful for everything school DID NOT teach me. It forced me to become self sufficient and learn the things I talk about above. It also saves my future kids because there is no way in hell I am sending them into the public education system lol.
