Stop picking sides!

Happy Wisdom Wednesday. :)

Today I am going to keep it on the shorter side and give you some wisdom that has been passed down to me from mentors/books.

It goes like this...

The moment you pick a side, you have locked yourself into an identity that might not be fully truthful.

Meaning, you may find yourself defending ideas, beliefs, people... because the "side" is defending them... even though the authentic you might truly believe otherwise deep down.

Use this wisdom however you would like.

For me, here is the practical existence of this wisdom.

  1. I am purposely not affiliated with a political side.
  2. I don't trust or "side with" any large organization in gov't / healthcare / pharma / education system.
  3. There is no right way to do business, no "right" way to eat, exercise, live life. I don't choose sides and force others to do the same habits I have. My habits, like my thoughts, change every year.

Refusing to choose sides brings a FREEDOM that many people will never feel because they are too caught up in the agenda of one side.

Throughout every day I am able to analyze data and feedback for myself, and then make a hypothesis based on that data. None of my hypothesis are tied to a "side" believing in a certain thing.

Why do I recommend living like this?

Because no one on planet earth truly knows what the hell is going on, or what is going to happen in the future. We made all this shit up lol. And when you free yourself from a side, you also allow yourself to change your mind all the time. Again, this is a FREEDOM that I am after.

Does this mean I don't have strong beliefs?

Of course not.

If you follow my content you know that I "feel" very strongly about certain topics.

But at the end of the day, I am very conscious that these are my own feelings based on my lens of the world and the research / real world data I have collected and used as feedback to create my own hypotheses.

And I openly challenge others to tear my hypotheses apart if they believe otherwise. :)

How many sides do this? ^^^

NONE.

Use this advice how you wish.

p.s. I am grateful to everyone out there who refuses to take sides. You are the REAL ONES who push this world forward into a better existence.
