Rainy Day Activities for Circle C and Goldtown
Jan 20, 2026 4:01 pm
I spent some time awhile ago thinking up activities that your kids might enjoy on cold, dark, January afternoons after they have finished up their school for the day but it's too wet and cold to go outdoors. Or maybe for a Saturday morning and they're waiting for it to warm up just enough to go outside and build a snowman. So, print them out for free and enjoy!
Two Activity Packs in One Newsletter
In the old days (like last year), I would have sent the Circle C activity pack to my Circle C subscribers and then a week later sent a Goldtown activity pack to my Goldtown subscribers. Now that I have combined everything into one twice-monthly newsletter, both Circle C and Goldtown readers can enjoy each others' activities.
Every few months or so, I think up creative ideas to go along with the books. This month, the activity pack for Goldtown has activites, coloring, a puzzle, and a maze that all have to do with book 3, Canyon of Danger.
The Circle C activities have to do with the short story, "Tarantula Trouble," and also includes . . . drum roll . . . the audio story so kids can enjoy a fun story about a friendly spider that Andi insists will be her pet. The story activities come from book 7, Other Tales from the Circle C Ranch.
Color, Snap a Picture, and Send!
My other idea is to highlight artwork from the kids (who take time to color any of the pictures in the activity packs) and send them to me (by replying to this newsletter), along with a first name and age. As space allows, I will highlight their artwork in future newsletters. (I hope I get at least a few takers on this. It would be fun!)

A Circle C Book of Coloring and Activities
I decided to redo, update, and expand the old Circle C Coloring and Activity Book to include many more activities. I also included "older" Andi and Rosa paper dolls (back cover) and a couple of pages of clothes to design and color. (The previous activity book featured younger Andi paper dolls.)
Anyway, there are now sixty activities and it also has a new cover. And . . . for the first time ever, I'm offering it as an Instant Download in addition to the print book on Amazon. Talk about rainy day activities! You can see sample pages below and he contents page at the Download link.
Have a great day and blessed week!
