Hello again!

This week has gone pretty quickly for me, I'll be honest! I think it's been partly because of the lovely long sunshine-y days, although I will also admit (in true British fashion!) to being a little bit happier now the weather has cooled down slightly. I don't want to scare the sun away, but 32 degrees is too hot for me!

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to the seaside on Sunday, and I did manage to get my hands on an ice cream - yippee!

On Wednesday, I broke the week up by going to see Inception in 4DX - I wish I could spend the middle of every week like that! I was curious to see what it was like, and what remastering had been done. Although the cinema were calling it 4DX, it was still in 2DX, but with some added jiggling! Actually, that's not quite fair, as there was a fair bit of water splashing around too, and I did feel that it added something to the whole experience.

As my Dad said, it's halfway between watching a film and riding a rollercoaster!

If you've seen Inception, you might think it's enough of a rollercoaster without any added effects (and you'd be right) but if you do get the chance to go see it in 4DX, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Given all the different locations in the dream levels, and the globe-trotting that takes place, watching the film did feel like a mini-holiday.

If you're not getting away right now, here's a blog on the best of World Cinema to give you some holiday vibes.

Or if want to get out but are staying closer to home and still want to feel that movie magic, check out the UK locations used in movies in this blog.

Whatever you get up to, I hope you have a fantastic week! As ever, you can hit 'reply' and let me know what you're watching if you want to talk movies.

See you soon!

Joy
