New Movies for an Old Feeling 🤕

Hello!

Have you got that Friday Feeling this week?

No, neither have I... It's strange how quickly lockdown has lost any trace of novelty for all of us in England. Nipping to the shop for a pint of milk yesterday gave me a feeling of 'what lockdown?' which is rather worrying.

I guess all we can do is our own bit, and for me, I'm going to encourage you to stay home and watch movies (hmmm, you guessed that already, huh?😉)

Here is a new blog with some recommendations from Caitlin about the Best Netflix Movies. There's a lot of different genres in there, so you're bound to find something you like!

Perhaps part of the strange lockdown for me has been because we had some work done on the house this week. I can't imagine that happening during the first lockdown, but they had been advised that because they couldn't work from home, they could continue to work at other people's houses.

We even had a visit from their managers - including one who was dressed in an elf jumper! Normally at this time of year I'm totally unprepared for Christmas and would probably roll my eyes, but this time I laughed.

Part of my Christmas prep this year is to make some videos, so I'll be busy filming for the rest of today, and hopefully will have some to share with you next week.

We also had Remembrance Day this week. It was actually nice as the workers stopped their sometimes pretty noisy work. The whole estate was quiet, and no doubt up and down the country was too. I know can be a complicated subject, but I'm glad to live in a country where we do have so much freedom, even if some of it has been temporarily taken away.

For now, that's a 'cut' from me! 🎬 Here's hoping you have a great weekend and manage to get your feet up and watch a movie... or two!

The tricky question is, which movie do you watch?
