Books, Flowers, and Sneak Peaks

Hello Dear Readers!

I hope everyone has May flowers this month! The sweet pinks in my front yard are in bloom, and I'm loving their vibrant color. Only, my kids trampled them last year. And while they survived, they are rather... flat. Not the blooms, but the stems? Anyway, the stems grow out along the ground like vines or something then pop up at the last three or so inches and end in brilliant little blooms. It's like a pink fairy circle that's empty except for roots in the middle.

Is there any way to fix this!? I'm new to the whole gardening thing. Started in the last two years. And while I love the flowers, I have to have hardy plants, because when the stories take over, I may... just a little... forget to take care of them.

Thankfully my husband is great at yard work and not a storyteller. 😆 So he's able to keep most of the green stuff green while I disappear into a computer screen.

Even if the kiddos did flatten the sweet pinks.

Other than books, what are you guys filling your days with?

OH, I ALMOST FORGOT! 😆🤭🤦‍♀️

Ready for some book recs?

Y'all. I love this series so stinkin' much. Can these heroes make me swoon any more? Likely no. Because I'd need a hospital bed and a drip to stay alive with all the being unconscious. Need I say anything else other than read this book!

The Wicked Wallflower (The Duchess Society Book 3) by [Tracy Sumner]

Try out Rue Allyn's The French Duchess!

Speaking of swooning... THIS COVER. Grab Rosie Chapel's Elusive Heart to enjoy this one for yourself.

How about some MUST READ historical romance?

It's spring and you know what that means! More romance! (although, if we're honest, every season is perfect for my favorite genre)

He moved toward the gate, his eyes glued to his boots. “Hm. Tart one moment and sweet the next. You are a conundrum, Mrs. Brighton. But one day I will figure you out.”

She stepped into rhythm with his stride at his side, so close a mere bump to the right would brush their bodies up against each other. “I’m already figured out, my lord. Have been for an age.”

He opened the gate and ushered her onto the street. “I disagree. You must be a fairy. No. A sprite.”

“I am a widow of two and thirty, and of no consequence.”

They stepped together onto the sidewalk before her front door, and he stopped her, his gloved fingers to her elbow.

She turned just her head to gaze up at him, the question in her eyes.

“You are of all the consequence.”

Such a tiny tease, I know! But I adore these two together, and I love that my hero is determined to show this woman how important she is. He's SUCH a cinnamon roll. But he's got an edge, too, and a sword cane to accomplish he goals.

I can't wait for you to meet Edmund and Katherine! Stay tuned for further news!

Happy reading!
