Curvy Heroines and the Heroines of Hawthorne

Hey there, readers!
Have you read The Fake February Rake? If so, you're ready for my next release on October 23--Curves and Counterfeit. It's part of the multi-author series Curves and Cravats (it's in Kindle Unlimited), which I hope you're all enjoying. It's the story of Miss Lucy Jones, Dr. Hades Jones' little sister. Six years later, she's all grown up and, unbeknownst to her, about to fall in love.
I loved returning to Hades and Lucy's world, which includes the women's refuge south of London--Hawthorne House. Hawthorne is an idea that's been brewing in my head for a very long time, whether I was reading romance novels where women are threatened with being thrown into mad houses because they refuse to comply or reading the 1853 Susan Gaskell novel Ruth where a young girl is used and discarded (oh, let's add Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'ubervilles for that matter, and so many other 19th century classics), and just knowing how legally dependent women were on men in a system that led to easy abuse, I've always wished they had some refuge.
Of course in romance novels, these women find refuge in the love of a good man, and I'm here for that. But I'm also loving the trend in romance in the last several years toward women uplifting other women. And that's what Hawthorne is about--finding safety and hope through the support of other women.
And, because this is my lovely world of happily ever afters, finding both safety and hope in romantic love as well.
Lucy is dedicated to Hawthorne's mission, and she's working, as her sister-in-law does, helping women escape bad situations in London. She's determined to take some risks in order to help even more people. She'll throw away everything--love, passion, her own desires--to save as many as possible.
Enter a scoundrel by the name of Keats. But shhhhh... he' doesn't want anyone to know he's there. Keats is passion, and Lucy is all duty, and their kisses are battles between the two. Hopeless desire, rampant pining, and a rake with a cinnamon roll awakening--all this builds a fire at Hawthorne House that could very well explode.
❤️🔥
Fake Rake and Counterfeit are part of a novella series I'm expanding across a few multi-author series I'm in this year and over the next few years. All of them will belong to the worlds of the multi-author series as well as to my Hawthorne House world. There will be three, possibly four or more novellas in what I'm calling the Hawthorne Hellions series.
I've been trying to design my own logo for the series. Below are two I'm playing with. What do you think? The pink "hellions" off to the side or the gold in the middle?
Or maybe I should go in an entirely different direction? No house? Thicker font? I could probably play around for AGES.

I want to end today by asking how everyone's doing, especially if you're from North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, or Florida in the states. I'm a few hours away from all the massive flooding, and just heartbroken by everything I've seen. My heart is with everyone right now, and I hope everyone and their friends and family are safe and dry right now.
