Hello Dear Readers!

So, Bring a Boxer to His Knees will bounce into the world on July 28th, and I'm excited. Early reviews are lovely (thank you!) and it's the perfect time for it to release because I'm also currently writing another circus themed book in the Cavendish series.

It is a book I didn't know I was going to write until I was writing Boxer, and I just sort of fell in fascination with this widowed viscountess who was soft-spoken and a bit wise beyond her years (looking forward to you guys meeting her!). In fact, she was originally less central to the story, but my brilliant critique partner *waves vigorously in case she's reading this* was like, I don't like that mom character, but FREDDY I love. So I killed the mom off and gave Freddy all the glory.

Then when I signed up to write a novella for the Wicked Widow's League multi-author series, I realized it would have to be about her, Fredericka Brooks, Viscountess Woodfeld. You can call her Freddy, though. She prefers it. She's a relative of Boxer's hero, and her novella is titled Scandalizing the Scoundrel. It won't be out until next May, but it's on pre-order now! You know I'll share bits and pieces of it with you before then, though. 😁

This novella won't be in KU to begin with, but it will float over into KU sooner rather than later, just a heads up!

Freddy's love interest is a trick equestrian rider, so I've been studying up on those, the different tricks they performed, the horses they used (broader was better), and who the most famous ones were (Philip Astley, of course!). I'll end up with a blog post about it sometime this month. Promise!

Before we jump into book recommendations, how about a giveaway! The Facebook group I'm a part of--The Brazen Belles--is doing a huge giveaway, and all you have to do to enter is be part of the group.
