Sunny Bunny Days

Dear Readers,
It's summer vacation in my neck of the woods, and that means lots of pool time with the kiddos, summer reading programs at the library, and protecting the strawberries growing in my backyard from those wiley bunnies.
Who knew those cute little things were such demons?
I add a little bit to my garden every year, and this year I planted tiger lilies. I had no idea that in addition to looking up what zone the flowers thrived it, sun requirements, water levels, etc, I also needed to check bunny warnings. Apparently the little critters love tiger lilies? And as soon as the sprouts popped up out of the ground, they devoured half of them. 😭
I feel like I need to give a heroine a bunny pet now. And the bun will be the bane of the hero's existence. He will see the creature for its true, flower devouring ways.
At least the bunnies leave my dayliilies alone.
What's your favorite flower?
